Spanish climber summits Everest in what is believed to be record time [Mic Archives]

A 29-year-old hiker from Spain is believed to be the fastest person to summit Mount Everest. The mountain, which claims the lives of hikers every year, was conquered by the Spaniard without the use of additional oxygen or fixed ropes. The epic adventures are being cultivated into a video series entitled “Summits of my Life.”
