Scene Deemed Safe After Bomb Disposal Unit Attends Castlefield Campus in Hulme

Greater Manchester Police said on May 25 that they were responding to a call at Castlefields Campus School on Linby Street in Hulme, in the south of the city, and evacuated surrounding Mancunian Way and Jackson Crescent.The police also confirmed that a bomb disposal unit had arrived at the scene. They later confirmed that the scene had been deemed safe and the cordon had been lifted.
