Tourism numbers down during Trump's tenure

Donald Trump's tenure as President of the United States has gotten off to a rocky start and some of it may have an influence on declining tourism numbers. International tourism dropped 16 percent in March, compared to the same month in 2016, according to Foursquare. The decline began in October Tourism-related traffic fell 11 percent in the US, compared to the previous year. Furthermore, restaurants (1-2 percent decline) and hotels (15 percent drop) will also feel the impact. Foursquare CEO Jeff Glueck attributes the decline to Trump's "America First" rhetoric, leading to residents from the Middle East and Central/South America staying away.
