Major Lazer just became the the latest celebrity to be connected to alcohol as the music trio signed a deal with Barcardi Rum. They will help fill the role of "Minister of Rum," which believe it or not carries a lot of significance. This pairing between liquor company and musical act goes beyond a simple brand endorsement: Major Lazer will have their own bottle of rum. Check it out! It's the first-ever collaboration for Bacardi in the brand's 155-year history and the first limited edition offering since Bacardi Superior Heritage, which debuted five years ago to mark the company's 150 year anniversary. Bacardi creative chief Zara Mirza The DJ and producer was influential in the development of the rum, which features tasting notes of tropical fruit, cedar, and almonds. Bacardi has also been working with Swizz Beatz as its "global chief creative for culture."
