Tom Cruise confirms 'Top Gun' sequel

Tom Cruise confirmed Tuesday that he will begin shooting the sequel to the 1986 classic Top Gun. He told the Australian morning show Sunrise. In the film, Tom Cruise plays Lieutenant Maverick, an expert United States naval aviator. Top Gun grossed $356m after its 1986 release
