Vat Purnima or Wat Purnima is falling on May 25 2017 Thursday. It is a special fast observed by married women for longevity of their beloved husbands. It is an important festival for married Hindu women that is observed either on the ‘Purina’ (full moon day) or ‘amavasya’ (no moon day) in the month of Jyeshtha as per traditional Hindu calendar.
