Unrest, fires lit in Calais 'Jungle' camp ahead of its demolition

Dozens of migrants near the French port of Calais clashed with police ahead of the descturction on the slum-like camp known as the ‘Jungle’, which houses thousands.
Groups of migrants lit bonfires using portable toilets on a sandy no-man's land on the camp's edge that authorities carved out to push camp inhabitants away from a road leading to port and ferries to England.
Law enforcement responded with tear gas to disperse the crowds, advancing towards the migrants lighting the flames who kept their distance.
