A Leader by Example: Texas State's Braeuer Steps Up During Senior Season

Sun Belt RISE Program member Tyler Gaudin, a senior at Texas State University, talked to Bobcats women's basketball senior Meghan Braeuer who is a candidate for Academic All-American this season. Braeuer is a standout for the Bobcats on the court and sets a high standard as a leader for the team on and off the court.
Tyler Gaudin is a senior majoring in mass communication with a concentration in electronic media at Texas State University. His minor is theatre arts.
The Sun Belt Conference RISE Program (Raising the Industry through Sports and Education). is a partnership between the Sun Belt Conference and its 13 member institutions that gives one student on each campus the unique opportunity to act as a standalone digital media correspondent for the conference office. Each student aspires to have a career in digital media and has worked closely with Sun Belt Conference staff in developing each of their stories to tell the stories of student-athletes in a unique, intriguing and most importantly honest way.
