The Cajuns claimed game two 6-2 behind another strong pitching performance, this time by junior Will Bacon and Moore. Bacon went a solid 6 1/3 innings allowing two runs on six hits. He struck out three batters but held the Bobcats scoreless until the fifth inning. Bacon earned the win in the contest to improve to 5-2.
Moore came on in relief to earn his 11th save of the year and second consecutive as the freshman earned the save in game one as well. Moore faced 12 batters, striking out two, while allowing two hits.
