Matthew Dayes ran for three touchdowns, including a 77-yard sprint, and North Carolina State put up 42 first-half points en route to a 63-13 victory over South Alabama.

Dayes also scored on runs of 2 and 8 yards, and Shadrach Thornton added TD runs of 39 and 4 yards for the unbeaten Wolfpack (4-0).

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett tossed TD passes of 33 and 2 yards to Jaylen Samuels, and the Wolfpack defense intercepted Jags quarterback Cody Clements twice as N.C. State opened up a 42-10 halftime lead.
