Tom Hardy tapped for 'Spider-Man' spin-off 'Venom'

"The Dark Knight Rises'" Tom Hardy is set for another role in a superhero film. Variety is reporting Hardy will reprise the role of "Venom" in a future Spiderman movie set for release on Oct. 5, 2018. The 39-year-old actor, who recently starred in FX's "Taboo" and is featured in the upcoming Christopher Nolan flick "Dunkirk," is a big fan of the character. Looks like Hardy is excited about the news! Ruben Fleischer of "Zombieland" fame is on board to direct.
