2016 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship: Troy vs Arkansas State Game 6 Highlights

No. 8 seed Arkansas State walked-off a winner, 13-12, in an elimination game against No. 4 seed Troy at the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship.

Arkansas State (28-28) staved off elimination with the win and must face another elimination game on Friday at 6:30 p.m. CT at Bobcat Ballpark. The Red Wolves will face the losing team from the 7:30 p.m. CT matchup on Thursday between No. 1 seed UL Lafayette and No. 5 seed Texas State. Troy is eliminated from the tournament.

Arkansas State scored five runs over the last three frames, capped by a three-run rally in the bottom of the ninth. Senior Tanner Ring delivered the game-winning hit for Arkansas State with a RBI single to left that scored junior Joe Schrimpf.

The two teams combined to tie the record for hits in a Sun Belt Conference baseball tournament game with 37.
