Simone Fields had a double-double with 19 points and 16 rebounds while Nekia Jones had 19 points and eight rebounds to lead the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team to a 79-72 win over ULM on Tuesday in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament at Lakefront Arena.
No. 5 seed Louisiana (18-10, 11-7 SBC) will face No. 4 seed Texas State (16-13, 11-7 SBC) on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the quarterfinals at Lakefront Arena.
