Trump: Joe Lieberman 'frontrunner' for FBI Director

It's being reported by NBC News that President Donald Trump could announce his pick for FBI Director as early as Friday. The outlet reports that former Senator Joe Lieberman is his top pick and overall "frontrunner" for the position. On Wednesday, Trump met with Lieberman, acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, former Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating, and former top FBI official Richard McFeely. The search comes following Trump's abrupt firing of James Comey last week. Comey was tasked with investigating Russia's potential involvement in the 2016 Presidential Election.
