The opening of the new football stadium in Inglewood, CA, which will be home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, has been delayed until 2020. Developers are blaming the delay on the massive amount of rainfall that California had this past year, much of which fell during excavation for the site. Bob Aylesworth, the principal associated building the stadium, told The LA Times The site broke ground in November but then had to wait stop work for nearly two months as the rain made the hole being excavated look like a lake.
