Behind the scenes or glowing on your screen with an amazing pen and a talent to sing, the very well rounded Sevyn Streeter stopped by Sway in the Morning recently.

She discusses her songwriting process which is very detailed down to the word choice and almost to the point of over-analyzing how fans receive it. But, her belief in not rushing the process and timing is everything balances things out properly. Working with creative minds like Eric Bellinger and Chris Brown only helps as the ideas flow freely, respecting their input as she puts together very special tracks.

Tracks that are displayed on her new project Shoulda Been There Part 1. The title track may cause some from her past a little anguish as she excels while laughing off attempts when the exes “try it”, with superstar companion B.o.B who is featured on the song .
