The huge swarm of bees descended on Greenwich on 16 May, during rush hour. Abigail Hering, who works nearby, shared a video of the swarm on social media, showing commuters ducking to avoid the insects. She told the Evening Standard that there were "millions" of them, and that the swarm was there for at least an hour.
