Lil Scrappy Interview: Balancing Music vs. Love and Hip Hop, Six Women at Once and Lessons Learned
  • 7 years ago
It would be almost impossible to take a trip to the ATL and not sit down with the "Prince of the South" Lil Scrappy. All fans of the Southern movement led by him and Lil Jon a few years ago view him as one of the livest rappers to ever hit the stage...or should we say the Crunkest. However, new fans of Scrap may see him as a television star courtesy of his recurring role on Love and Hip Hop. As people grow and evolve so do their interests and opportunities, fans should always remember that when looking at their favorite artists.

How has that transition helped or hurt Lil Scrappy individually? He details the entire process as he watches the music landscape change and growing as an artist finally feeling as if he is ready to show the world who he really is artistically. Not to mention a few rough patches along the way that we all go through but it is a key component to our growth. Scrappy is no different as he runs through a few battles with our SITM crew, despite it all though you can thoroughly sense the growth he has experienced over the years and it is great to see. Whether on our television screen or through the speakers, we hope to see more from the Prince of the South.
