India will look to successfully defend their Champions Trophy title in England stating June 1, and if they manage to do so, Virat Kohli and his boys will take home a cheque worth $2.2 million, the ICC announced . "The upcoming ICC Champions Trophy in England and Wales from 1-18 June carries a total prize money of $4.5 million with the winner of the eight-team tournament taking home a cheque of $2.2 million," the ICC statement read.
इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट काउंसिल (आईसीसी) ने चैंपियंस ट्राॅफी की प्राइज मनी की घोषणा कर दी. इस बार प्राइज मनी में पिछली चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी की तुलना में 5 लाख डॉलर (3.2 करोड़ रुपए) का इजाफा कर दिया गया है. अब आईसीसी के इस दूसरे सबसे बड़े टूर्नामेंट की कुल प्राइज मनी 45 लाख डॉलर (28.87 करोड़ रुपए) हो गई है.
