Sandro Dias is a Brazilian professional vert skateboarder. He was born on April 18, 1975 in Santo André, São Paulo, Brazil and currently resides in Santa Ana, California. He started skateboarding in 1986 and turned pro in 1995. He is consider the king of the 540 and one of three people to be able to land the 900. He won the gold medal at X Games 12 In Skateboard Vert.He is sponsored by Reef, Red Bull, Oi, Oakley, Positiv Skateboards and Plata. He won the world vert skating titles in 2003,2004,2005,2006 and 2007. At the end of 2008 he was denied a 6th title by the WCS when they awarded the title to Bob Burnquist, even though Sandro had skated Mystic (which those points were never credited to any skater who competed there.
