Puerto Rican Students Lead the Resistance to Cuts

Students at the University of Puerto Rico have voted overwhelmingly to continue their strike against cuts, which began on April 6. The vote, by 1,993 to 533, is a major victory for social movements fighting back against spending cuts imposed by the government to deal with Puerto Rico's debt crisis.
