U.S. Navy ships wait off the coast of Myanmar

ANDAMAN SEA (May 23, 2008) The Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), comprised of USS Essex (LHD 2), USS Juneau (LPD 10) and USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49), steam in formation in the Andaman Sea. The Essex ARG is standing by in international waters off the coast of Burma in support of Joint Task Force Caring Response a humanitarian assistance operation developed in the wake of Cyclone Nargis.
