Twin Blasts Injure Shoppers Near Pattani Supermarket

At least 20 people were injured on May 9 as two bomb attacks were reported outside a supermarket in the southern Thai city of Pattani.An initial explosion at the site was followed shortly after by a second blast. According to a Reuters report citing military sources, 42 people were injured. There were no immediate reports of fatalities.This video shows emergency services responding to the scene.Pattani province, in southern Thailand, has been the site of a number of deadly bombing attacks, believed to have been carried out by Muslim separatists.
