Facebook turns to newspaper ads to combat fake news

Facebook is expanding its campaign against fake news to print media. On Monday, readers of several British newspapers (including The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, and The Times) found full-page ads from Facebook, in which the social network offers advice on how to spot fake stories.
