Champions Trophy: India coach Anil Kumble invites trouble after supporting participation. Anil Kumble had said, Virat Kohli led Team India want to defend Champions Trophy title. Some BCCI officials are backing a boycott of this tournament, starting on June 1, in protest against the ICC revising its revenue-sharing and governance model that would drastically reduce India’s share. The national team coach Anil Kumble has reportedly told the BCCI that their differences between the ICC on finances should not hamper the Indian team’s participation in the Champions Trophy.The BCCI is expected to take a final decision on India’s participation at the tournament at its special general body meeting on 7th of May in New Delhi.
