Algae turns freshwater lake in China completely green

Bizarre footage has emerged from China of a freshwater lake in China that's turned completely green.
The video, filmed in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province on May 1, shows the green lake, after algae grew quicker than usual Spring and changed the colour of the water.
According to local reports, the algae density in Lake Tai is 38.7 per cent higher than it was at this time last year.
