Armoured vehicle runs over protesters in Venezuela street battle

Renewed street battles erupted between protesters and riot police in the capital of Venezuela, Caracas, on 3 May. The reoccurring violence is just two days after President Nicolas Maduro called on the popular assembly to rewrite the constitution in an attempt to restore order across the nation. Footage captured by a local journalist shows two armoured police vehicles retreating after coming under attack from fire bombs, before one drives forward into a crowd of protesters.
