Coming together of northeastern militants under a common platform has raised concern among the security agencies. The common platform has provided oxygen to the dwindling strength of Anti talk ulfa militant under Paresh Baruah. Khaplang faction which has recently aborted the ceasefire with government of India is providing shelter, logistics and safe passage in Myanmar. Khaplang has camps in Taga region of Myanmar.
