Former J&K CM Farooq Abdullah removed as JKCA chief

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah was on Monday removed from his position of J&K Cricket Association chief. The veteran National Conference leader will be replaced by Imran Ansari, who was elected unopposed. Ansari is a sports minister in the J&K government. Abdullah, who was President JKCA since 1980, decided not to contest.
