During an interview this weekend, President Trump praised Andrew Jackson while at the same time accidentally saying that Jackson was around during the Civil War. Naturally, people took notice of his mistake and were quick to correct him. Trump then tweeted some clarification. Despite his tweet, the public was not soothed and the hashtag #TrumpHistoryLesson started to trend on Twitter. Here are some of the tweets:
