Syria's war: SDF fighters retake most of Tabqa city

The US-led coalition says ISIL's control of the Syrian city of Tabqa is nearly over.

The announcement comes after an offensive by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces fighters broke defence lines belonging to ISIL in the city centre.
