Ryan Reynolds Says Blake Lively Made Him More Empathetic

Ryan Reynolds is the early leader for husband of the year after making some wonderful comments about his wife, Blake Lively.
The actor made comments to Humans of New York at the Met Gala, saying that Blake has made him a more empathetic person.
He reportedly says, "she always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy..."
And Ryan will be the first to admit that he's improved as a man thanks to these lessons, and it's affected his relationship with his own family, namely his late father.
He says, "I had a very fractured relationship with my father... before he died, she made me remember things I didn't want to remember. She made me remember the good times."
It's a strong relationship like that that proves they aren't acting when they appear so happy together on the red carpet.
