Kanye West did not accompany Kim Kardashian at the 2017 Met Gala… and now we know why.
The reality star told Vogue that he’s at home because he’s been taking some time off and really loving that.
Guess that’ll have to suffice… even though they’ve been a red carpet fixture at the event for a few years running.
Funny thing is, he sisters were kind of in the same boat.
Kim asked the reporter if he had seen her sisters because they were all solo on that night. And they had been texting each other from their respective cars on the way there.
Before the event, a source told People magazine that Kanye wouldn’t be attending the gala because he’s not ready to start attending big events following his breakdown and hospitalization. The source added that he’s doing great but wants to keep his stress levels low and just wants to take more time off.
Now we’re left to wonder if we’ll see him at the next big event.
