One dead in stabbing on University of Texas campus

One person is dead and at least three others injured following a stabbing that took place on the University of Texas campus Monday, according to the Associated Press. The incident took place around 2 p.m. local time near Gregory Gym, while campus police said that there's one suspect in custody. There is no longer a threat on the campus, the university said. One victim was transported to a nearby hospital, while Austin-Travis County EMS officials tweeted that they were treating three people on the scene.
