Ryan Seacrest just added being the co-host of ‘Live’ to a long list of hosting gigs that expand over a decade. Here’s a list of his most notable jobs that made him today’s ‘go-to’ host. 2002- 'American Idol' Seacrest rose to stardom as the host of the popular singing completion show ‘American Idol’ for 14 years! 2003- 'On Air With Ryan Seacrest' He had his first radio show in LA, which still runs today! 2004- 'American Top 40' In his second radio gig, Seacrest continues hosting the classic American program which has been on-air since 1970. 2005- 'Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Years Eve' Seacrest joined the annual New Year’s Eve show as an Executive Producer and co-host, but became the main host after Clark’s death in 2012. 2006- 'E! News' He became a leading player for the network’s celebrity news show and worked the red carpet coverages too. 2012 and 2016-Olympics He was an NBC correspondent for the 2012 London Olympic and the 2016 Rio Olympics.
