by Jeff DonlanA new Russian robot may look like a mini Terminator, but the Russians insist it’s merely designed for space travel. FEDOR is a six-foot humanoid robot that is being prepared for a space mission due to launch in 2021. Its newest skill is firing two pistols at once, which we’re told helps teach the humanoid robot fine motor skills and decision making. FEDOR also trains with weights and drills, and even drives. Even though it shoots, the Russians say FEDOR is not designed for combat.
