Val Kilmer opens up about battle with cancer

Val Kilmer recently opened up about his battle with cancer during a Reddit 'Ask Me Anything' session. Kilmer's friend and fellow actor Michael Douglas, who also battled with oral cancer, alluded to Kilmer having the condition in the past. “(Kilmer) is dealing with exactly what I had, and things don’t look too good for him,” Douglas, an oral cancer survivor, said at the time. “My prayers are with him. That’s why you haven’t heard too much from Val lately.” In 2015, Kilmer used Facebook to inform fans that Douglas was "misinformed" and the allegations were untrue. Kilmer is now touring for a film adaptation of his one-man show 'Citizen Twain' and continues to be active on social media.
