Although Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have attended every Met Gala as a couple since making their debut together during the 2013 ball, the reality star is planning attend the NYC event sans her hubby this year.
“Kanye West will not be attending the Met Ball tomorrow,” a source told People. “Kim will be going solo. He’s still very much enjoying his time off from public events. He’ll be staying back in L.A. with their kids.” Ever since his scary mental breakdown last November, Yeezy has been avoiding the limelight and focusing on his daddy duties more often. “Everything is great with him and Kim and he’s supportive of her going solo,” the insider added.
Without Kanye by her side and no one to coordinate outfits with, what will Kim wear to the ball? The insider revealed that the mom of two will don a Vivienne Westwood design.
And even though Yeezus is sitting this one out, his wife won’t be completely alone. Kendall and Kylie Jenner will be there, ready to pose for shots with their older sister.
