Rajasthan's top mining official, Ashok Singhvi, arrested in bribery case

Anti corruption bureau of Rajasthan has arrested Principal Secretary of Mines Department, Ashok Singhvi, in connection with a bribery case of Rs 2.5 crore. Singhvi's arrest came after the ACB caught Pankaj Gehlot, Additional Director, Department of Mines with Rs 2.5 crore. Pankaj received the money as a bribe from mine owner Sher Khan and middleman Sanjay Sethi. A Rs 20 crore bribe was demanded to restore the allotment of a mine after it was cancelled
