Sourav Ganguly appointed as President of Cricket Association of Bengal

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has been appointed the president of the Cricket Association of Bengal taking over the charge of state cricket body after the death of Jagmohan Dalmiya. The announcement was made by West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday in the presence of senior CAB officials and state government ministers at the state secretariat building.
