Astrosat successfully launched by ISRO's PSLV

ISRO has crossed yet another milestone by launching Astrosat today morning from Sriharikota. A PSLV rocket, carried seven satellites including Astrosat exactly at 10 a.m. It is India's first attempt at setting up an observatory in space, a place from where it can study cosmological phenomena. The Astrosat has the ability to observe celestial bodies like distant stars and cosmic X-Ray sources in different wavelengths simultaneously.
