Malegaon Blasts : Rohini Salian names NIA officer who pressurized her

Former Special Prosecutor Rohini Salian has named the NIA officer who asked her to “go soft” against the accused in the 2008 Malegaon blasts case after the NDA came to power. The officer is Suhas Warke, a Superintendent of Police in the National Investigation Agency (NIA). This was mentioned in an affidavit filed by her in a matter relating to initiation of contempt proceedings against NIA for “tending to hamper the judicial process,” resulting in “weakening of the prosecution’s case”.
