Here is a recap of the GBOA West Dunk Contest featuring '10s top player Jeremy Tyler, Charles Odom, 9th grader Nick Johnson, Jamal Franklin and Amir Bell. Judged by: Shawn Livingston of the LA Clippers, Malcolm Lee (going to UCLA next year), and Devon Jefferson of USC.

Charles Odom was the most impressive of the first round, but missed his final round dunks. Jeremy Tyler was the crowd favorite but that soon changed after 9th grader Nick Johnson came out of nowhere and put down some impressive dunks. In the Finals, Nick Johnson missed his dunk, and Jeremy Tyler did a two handed windmill to seal the victory.
