Tension in Dadri as Hindu woman ‘elopes’ with Muslim man

A Hindu woman allegedly eloped with a Muslim man in Uttar Pradesh’s Dadri village sparking tension today, less than two months after a man there was lynched over rumours of beef consumption triggering a national outrage. Her family members have lodged kidnapping complaint against the man. DSP Anurag Singh said an FIR has been lodged under sections 363 (kidnapping) and 366 of IPC.
