Venezuela death toll rises, as country plans to quit OAS

Venezuela’s increasing death toll, currently at 28, claimed two victims on Wednesday as police fired tear gas at stone-throwing anti-government protesters in an on-going wave of clashes. The crisis-hit country announced it was quitting the Organization of American States (OAS) in anger at pressure from the bloc over the government's handling of a violent political crisis.
