NGT orders no new diesel vehicles to be registered in Delhi

In a latest development to keep a check on the alarming pollution levels in the national capital, National Green Tribunal has directed Centre and state govt not to buy any diesel vehicles for their departments. It has said that now No new diesel vehicles will be registered in Delhi. Also there are speculations of banning diesel cars in Delhi after A petition seeking a ban was filed which will be heard by the Supreme Court on December 15.
