Odisha bureaucrat comes out as Transgender

A Odisha bureaucrat has revealed her transgender identity over a year after the Supreme Court recognized transgenders as third gender.Aishraya Rutuparna Pradhan, who took over as Paradip's commercial tax officer recently.She said she changed her name last year to crystallize her identity. Her transformation was arduous and fraught with social struggles and emotional upheavals.
