Nirbhaya case : Juvenile to walk free, SC dismisses DCW plea

The Supreme Court has dismissed Delhi Commission for Women's plea against Juvenile convict release in Nirbhaya rape case. Juvenile now can walk free. Supreme Court said to DCW, "We share your concern, but we can't curtail his liberty without sanction of law. We cannot go beyond the law." The juvenile was convicted in 16 December's brutal Nirbhaya rape case and he spent three years and was now at an NGO-run shelter.
