St Stephen's College adopts odd even rule for cell phones

Students of St Stephen’s College in Delhi have decided to adopt the city’s odd-even formula for cell phone numbers. The students said they are doing this because the devices are “lethal” for health and intellectual life. More than 70% of the college's students voted in favour of the idea when it was proposed during an assembly meeting. However, students will not be penalized if they do not wish to follow the rule.
