AT&T announced its expansion of its 5G network to more cities this year. There's a catch though: users would need a Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus to take advantage of the company's 5G Evolution network. The company is now under fire by tech outlets for allegedly passing off its 5G Evolution network as real 5G technology. While the Evolution network may be faster than 4G LTE, 5G technology still doesn't exist yet.
